Lynchburg, VA - Some Lynchburg high schoolers are going to kick off Football Friday with a huge tailgate party Friday night.
Upperclassmen and freshmen from E.C. Glass High School are hosting the party at Lynchburg City Stadium.
The event is also spotlighting a popular mentoring program called "Link Crew." Upperclassmen are paired with freshmen to help them through their first year.
At the party, members will have some friendly competitive games right before E.C. Glass takes on Halifax County at 7 p.m. The freshmen tailgate starts at 5:30p.m.
