Appomattox, VA - An accident on 460 Friday sent an elderly woman to the hospital and held up traffic for a while.
Police say the 70-year-old was headed toward Appomattox when she ran off the road and overcorrected. The car flipped, laying upside down in the median.
She was taken to Lynchburg General with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver says she was distracted when adjusting her air conditioning.
