Danville, VA - The Shrimp Fest is kicking off Wednesday night in Danville.
The annual event is put on by the Danville-Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce as well as Harvest Jubilee. All tickets were sold out back in May.
Proceeds will help fund Harvest Jubilee events such as July 4th celebrations and the Children's Festival, as well as helping with Chamber events like leadership development programs.
Shrimp Fest is at the Danville Community Market from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
