Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police have arrested a man they say shot a woman over the Labor Day weekend.
Officers responded to a home in the 1300 block of 17th Street Southeast on Sunday at about 4:30 p.m.
When they got there, officials found a woman who had been shot. Crews took her to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
After investigating, officers arrested and charged Jerrad Edwards, 22, with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
