Good news at the gas pump.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says gas prices remained stable in Virginia over the last week but are expected to begin dropping.
The price of a gallon of regular gasoline now averages $3.69 statewide...compared to a nationwide average of $3.83 per gallon.
Officials with AAA say prices are expected to decline as demand decreases with the end of the summer driving season and the end of hurricane season.
Refineries also are switching to less expensive winter-blend gasoline.
