Bomb Suspect Arrested on Federal Charges - WSET.com - ABC13

Roanoke, VA - A Roanoke man has been arrested on federal criminal complaints after police say he set off a pipe bomb in Blacksburg earlier this month.

Derick Gregory Wilson, 23, is charged with illegally possessing an explosive device.

Investigators say on August 1, Wilson put a bomb underneath an SUV near the Virginia Tech campus and set it off.

No one was hurt.

A federal judge has also ordered a psychiatric evaluation.
