Lynchburg, VA - Officials responded to two different accident Tuesday morning in Lynchburg.
There were some delays on the 29 Expressway Tuesday morning after an accident at the Main Street exit.
Police say a car heading north hit the median then swerved taking out a light pole and a street sign. A second car then hit the first one.
Officials say at least one person was transported to the hospital but there is no word right now on how badly they were hurt.
Also, Lynchburg police officials say a woman
was taken to the hospital after a crash at the intersection of 7th and Harrison Streets.
According to officers, a car on
Harrison St. didn't stop at the stop sign and t-boned the SUV.
EMS crews transported the SUV's driver
to Lynchburg General Hospital.
The man driving the car was charged with failure
to stop at a stop sign
