Danville Goodyear Laying Off Employees

Danville, VA -- About 55 employees at the Goodyear plant in Danville will be losing their jobs.

Communications Manager Laura Singleton confirmed the layoffs Tuesday.

Singleton says the layoffs are happening starting October 1 across all departments.

Goodyear will be notifying employees over the next two weeks. There are currently 2,300 employees at the Danville plant.
