Danville, VA - God's Pit Crew is back in Danville after spending time in the gulf lending a helping hand to all those affected by Hurricane Isaac.
Director Randy Johnson said they delivered seven tractor trailer loads of goods to families in need. They even repaired one elderly couple's roof.
Now that they're back, Johnson says he and his volunteers are just glad they could help.
"It's very rewarding I think for everybody that has the opportunity to go and participate in these things. We go to be a blessing and normally come home more blessed," said Johnson.
God's Pit Crew has been a part of many disaster relief missions including Hurricane Katrina back in 2004.
