Lynchburg, Va. - Dozens gathered around Monument Terrace Tuesday evening to remember the thousands who lost their lives on 9/11.
The Lynchburg Fire Department and Police Department hosted the event. They wanted this memorial to have few speeches and more moments of silence and remembrance.
Four wreathes were placed in front Monument Terrace to represent the firefighters, military, citizens, and law enforcement officers who died on this day.
