Crews to Extend Blackwater Creek Trail in Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - The Blackwater Creek Trail will soon take you farther.

Lynchburg City Council just approved $8,000 to improve the trail and extend it by a mile and a half.

Volunteers will start working on it this winter. By the time they finish, it will connect to the Lynchburg College campus.

Most of the $100,000 project is being paid for by grants and private donations.
