Teen Suffers Head Trauma After Car Crash

Rustburg, VA - The Rustburg community will show their support Friday night for a high school student who's recovering from a terrible crash.

Ashton Powell, 17, and a friend were hurt in the accident on Gough Road in August.

Powell suffered serious head trauma and has had several surgeries.

At Friday's football game, 1,800 balloons will be released in her honor, students will wear lime green (her favorite color) and bracelets will be for sale.
