Roanoke Murder Suspect Turns Himself Into Police

Roanoke, Va. - Roanoke Police say murder suspect Alex Daniel Paul Hamm, 36, of Roanoke, turned himself into police Monday night.

Hamm is charged with the murder of Anthony Hall, 27, that happened early Saturday morning.

Roanoke, VA- The Roanoke Police Department is investigating an early morning stabbing that left one man dead.

Officers responded to the 700 block of Bridge Street at around 2:31 Saturday morning. Upon arrival officers located Anthony Dale Hall, 27, of Roanoke. He had been stabbed.

He was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment, where he died.

Police suspect Alex Daniel Paul Hamm, 36, of Roanoke, in the crime. He has an outstanding warrant for murder.
