Radford, VA- Radford Police are investigating a sexual assault that happened early Saturday morning.
At approximately 1:20 a.m., a 19-year-old woman was walking alone in the alley behind 1100 Calhoun Street. She was approached by a man. The suspect covered the victim's mouth, pulled the front of her dress down and reportedly grabbed her breast. The victim was able to fight off the offender and scream and get away.
The offender is described as a slender built black male, clean shaven wearing dark colored jeans, dark shirt and approximately 5'8" tall. He is between 18-20 years and with short dark hair.
This case is under investigation.
