Flames Host #16 Lehigh

Lynchburg - The Liberty Flames wrap up a tough September slate this Saturday night when they host 16th-ranked Lehigh.

Liberty is 0-and-3, but the losses have come to solid teams, Wake Forest, Norfolk State and Montana this past week.
In that game, backup Josh Woodrum stepped in and threw for 322 yards.  Coach Turner Gill says starter Brian Hudson is available this week and that he and Woodrum will get pretty much equal reps in practice again competing for the starting spot.

Turner Gill, LIBERTY FLAMES HEAD COACH, said "Probably sometime on Friday we'll make a decision on who's gonna be the starter and that person will play, we won't alternate 'em or any of that nature.  Once I make the decision who's going to start, he'll be the guy to go."

Josh Woodrum, 34-44, 322 YDS. PASSING, 2 TD, INT. AT MONTANA, said "You know it really wasn't a shocker when I was out there, I wasn't star-struck or anything.  But you know it was definitely exciting, definitely something I'm going to remember."

Elliott Dutra, FLAMES SENIOR WIDE RECEIVER, said "We are the best 0-and-3 team in the country.  And we're just gonna continue to take positives out, continue to take the coaching, and continue to keep trying to win."
