Former Kroger Employee Pleads Guilty to Embezzling

Bedford Co., VA - A former employee at the Kroger in Forest has pleaded guilty to embezzling.

Jennifer Johns pleaded Tuesday to 15 counts of embezzlement in Bedford County Circuit Court.

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office says the embezzlement took place at Kroger but wouldn't specify what that entailed.

It took place between September and October of last year.

Johns will be sentenced on October 23.
