Rustburg - Today's high school Team of the Week is the Rustburg football team.
The Red Devils ran their record to 4-and-0 with Friday night's 56-21 romp over Prince Edward County. Rustburg racked up nearly 500 yards of total offense led by quarterback Randall Jones who ran for more than 140 yards and two TD's. Anthony Lovelace piled up 140 yards on just six carries. The Red Devils open district play this Friday night in Lynchburg against E.C. Glass.

And we're excited that, you know, that we've gotten off to a good start in our out of district games and we look forward to the challenge of the district."
