Lynchburg - Holy Cross hoops coaching legend Dr. John Laneve died Tuesday after a battle with cancer. The area eye doctor won more than 300 games, including state titles in four different decades, the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
Doc" helped shape the lives of many athletes. He'll be sorely missed and fondly remembered. John Laneve was 77 years old.
