Bedford Co. Supervisors Approve Money for Middle School Study

Bedford Co.,VA- Supervisors in Bedford County have set aside $50,000 to study locations for a new middle school.

The money comes from leftover renovation funds from Jefferson Forest High School.

The feasibility study will investigate whether putting a new middle school near Liberty High School is a good fit. One supervisor has suggested using free land offered by a Bedford County resident.

The chairman of the Board say they may consider that, if the feasibility study finds the Liberty High School location is not suitable.
