Lynchburg - High school volleyball, Seminole District leader E.C. Glass lost game one at home to Amherst County, but the Hilltoppers rallied to win the next three to beat the Lancers 3-1 on Tuesday night.
Amherst won a tight first game 26-24. But Glass bounced back, Paige Riley had 46 assists and 11 aces, Sarah Thomas 16 kills and five blocks, Alyssa Morris 11 kills. Glass won game two 25-17, game three 25-18 and game four 25-16 to close out the match. The Hilltoppers improve to 11-and-2 overall, 5-and-0 in the Seminole District.
