Montgomery Co., VA - Charges have been certified to a grand jury against a man accused of trying to abduct a woman from Virginia Tech.
33-year-old Alex Flores faces a felony attempted abduction charge. During a hearing in Montgomery County court Thursday, witnesses testified that they saw a man grab a woman near Henderson Lawn on June 29th. As the man dragged her, they say the woman broke away and ran.
Flores was a construction worker at Virginia Tech at the time. The woman testified that she did not know him. Flores faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
