Lynchburg - Wednesday night is "Play 4 the Cure" night at Lynchburg College.
The Hornets are hosting field hockey and men's soccer games to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. The Hornets hope to raise more than one thousand dollars for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Women's soccer players are also helping out for the great cause.
Enza Steele, L.C. FIELD HOCKEY COACH, said "I think it's very special to women in general. We want to help, you know, as much as we can to develop a cure for breast cancer. We also have some family members of players of coaching staff that have battled with the disease."
