Roanoke, VA - Changes are coming to Roanoke's Taubman Museum of Art.
The museum announced Monday that is going to start offering free admission. Advance Auto Parts offered a $150,000 contribution to the museum, allowing them to go without charging admission. Special exhibits and events will still have a fee.
President and CEO David Mickenberg is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. The Taubman is forming a new board of directors that will be chaired by Nick Taubman.
