Conexus employees help construct a Habitat for Humanity house in Laredo, Texas.

Laredo, TX (PRWEB) October 09, 2012

On Saturday, October 9, 2012 Conexus employees joined the Habitat for Humanity in building a three bedroom, one bathroom home for the Hernandez family in Laredo, Texas, a single working father with four daughters. The group spent the day installing siding and performing a variety of tasks to help move the home forward toward completion.

“I am so proud of my team for coming out and helping our community last Saturday,” said Patty Hinojosa, Director of Logistics at Conexus Laredo. “This was a great team building event for us as a company and we had a lot of fun while benefiting a local family. Although this was our first Habitat build in Laredo it certainly won’t be our last.”
