Update Wednesday:
Campbell Co., VA - State Police have identified the man killed in a crash in Campbell County Tuesday night.
Officer say Jerry Payne, 59, of Forest died.
They responded the accident just after 8 p.m. near the intersection of Lawyers Road and Cooks Branch Road.
Troopers say Payne ran off side of Lawyers Road and hit a tree causing his SUV to go down an embankment and flip.
Payne was the only person in the vehicle. Troopers say he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Campbell Co., VA - State Police are investigating a fatal accident in Campbell County Tuesday night. The accident happened just around 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of Lawyers Road and Cooks Branch Road.
Troopers say the driver of an SUV was going south on Lawyers Road when he struck a tree. The SUV then went 60 feet over an embankment, with the SUV landing upside on the roof. The driver died at the scene.
Troopers say he was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver was the only one in the vehicle. Troopers have yet to release the victims name.
