Tuesday night, the finance committee presented a recommendation to town council requesting an amount not exceeding $10,000 for the USDA to come in with a team from Richmond to help eliminate buzzards.
The town voted 4-1 to do it. The USDA will submit an agreement to them by the close of the week, and the process to rid the birds will start within two weeks.
