Chatham, VA - Governor Bob McDonnell's "Uranium Working Group" is scheduled to meet Wednesday night in Chatham for its fifth public forum.
They will be looking at public safety, environmental issues and a regulatory framework that would be needed if Virginia ended a 30 year ban on uranium mining.
Virginia Uranium Incorporated wants to mine and mill a massive deposit of the ore just outside of Chatham.
The forum is at 6 p.m. at the Old Dominion Agricultural Complex off Route 29.
