Lynchburg, VA – A Lynchburg man is in jail in connection with an assault at a home earlier this week.
John Brown IV, 27, is charged with malicious wounding and is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail with no bond.
At about 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a home on the 100 block of Old Wiggington Road.
EMS crews took a man to Lynchburg General Hospital for blunt force trauma injuries. He was treated and released.
Police say Brown and the victim were acquaintances, and officials believe the confrontation resulted from an argument inside the home.
