Lynchburg, VA - There's good news for those who take their dogs to the Lynchburg Dog Park. Starting Monday October 22, the park will be open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
Up until now there have been limited hours, because the city required that volunteers monitor the site for the first six months.
They're lifting that restriction early, however volunteers will still conduct spot checks for dog licenses, and cleanup inspections.
Another important note-- especially for those of you with little dogs-- also starting Monday-- all dogs will be playing in the small dog area, while the city re-seeds and maintains the large dog side.
