Appomattox Co., VA - It's that time of year again in Appomattox County.
This weekend is the annual Autumn Fest, sponsored by Liberty Baptist Church.
Starting Friday night, you can enjoy all the traditional parts of a fall festival, including a corn maze and hay ride. And it's all free.
Saturday's events include a sheep herding show, a tractor display, plus square dancing, bluegrass music. Just follow the signs to Evergreen from 460 East.
"We're just enjoying the outdoors, we're enjoying the fall season. We're trying to bless the community around us by providing something that is totally free. Food is free, There are no hidden costs," said Rusty Small, Pastor at Liberty Baptist Church.
Rusty Small says it's taken months to plan and weeks to set up. There is a part called the Scarecrow Hollow, that is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
