Franklin Co., VA - A Franklin County teenager will spend a minimum of two years in juvenile detention after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter for an accident that killed another teen.
18-year-old Marina Snyder was sentenced in court Friday.
Back in January, Snyder was driving on Route 122 in Franklin County when she lost control and crashed. One of her passengers, 17 year old Zach Parsons, was killed. Four others were injured.
Snyder will be in that detention center for at least two years and at most until her 21st birthday. Snyder will be under indefinite supervision after that.
Snyder does have 30 days to appeal this sentence.
