Danville, VA-- Danville's Union Street Theatre is holding their biggest fundraiser of the year Saturday night.
They're having a Hollywood themed Red Carpet Gala. There will be food, an auction, Broadway entertainment and lots of dancing. It's all happening at the Danville Education, Arts and Cultural Center at 7 p.m.
"This is a great chance for people to put on their finest clothes that they don't normally get to get out. So if you have a tux or a black tie, that's appropriate to wear, or even like a fancy cocktail dress," said Union Street Theatre Artistic Director Melissa Charles.
All the proceeds go toward the Union Street Junior Company. They're raising money to go to a theatre festival in Atlanta. Individual tickets are $50 and couple tickets are $80, you can buy them at the door.
