Amherst, VA - Organizations are always trying new ways to raise money, but Saturday the folks at Amherst Presbyterian Preschool did something you probably haven't heard of. It's called Cow Pie Bingo!
Organizers marked off a field, and made it into a giant Bingo Board. Then they released Glitter the Cow into the field and waited for the cow to do its business.
Whichever square Glitter did her business in determined the winner.
Proceeds from the event go to help provide scholarships to children attending the preschool.
"Anytime we can offer some financial assistance to help offset the cost of enrolling in private preschool, we feel like we have helped expand our base," said Bill Tucker from Amherst Presbyterian Church.
In all, organizers say they raised over 12-hundred dollars from the event.
