We're lucky to be having such beautiful warm weather, and this weekend you can be outside while getting a history lesson. The ghost tours of historic Lynchburg are back! You can learn about your city as a guide tells you stories or the haunts of days gone by. The walks start at the city market downtown, and tickets go on sale there at 6 p.m. That's October 25-27, and it's first come, first served. In Ferrum-it's one of the largest festivals that celebrates regional traditions. The Blue Ridge Folklife Festival is Oct. 27 at Ferrum College. You will see traditional music, country food, horse pulls and mule jumping. All kinds of different people come together to share traditions, and you won't be disappointed. That's 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and tickets are $10 for adults.
If you love NASCAR, you don't want to miss the Tums Fast Relief 500! Come out this weekend for three days of racing at the Martinsville Speedway. The qualifying will be on Friday, there's a truck race Saturday, and the 500 is Sunday. You can get your tickets online.
