
Montgomery Co., VA - A man convicted of stealing from the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will have to pay more than $17,000 for the crime.
Shane Adams, 48, the chamber's former president and CEO, was sentenced Wednesday.
A jury found him guilty on three counts of embezzlement in May.
He must repay more than $10,000 he took and pay a $7,500 fine.
Adams was fired in June 2009.
In court, he denied the charges.
