Danville, VA-- If you need a haircut, you can get one for a good price on Saturday and help out a family.
Cheveux salon in Danville will be giving hair cuts for only $15. The salon is holding a cut-a-thon to help raise money for a 14-year-old who needs a heart transplant.
Jacob Lee's family just found out about his medical condition three weeks ago,and they say it's all unexpected. The cut-a-thon is from 12-4pm and you can just stop in.
"This is a good opportunity for people who really don't have money to actually help, but need a hair cut, said salon co-owner Jennifer Bagbey. "They're able to get a haircut and something they need, and give another family something that they need."
All retail products the salon sells tomorrow will go toward Jacob's medical costs
There will be t-shirts, bracelets, window decals and baked goods for sale. There will also be a raffle.
