Motorcyclist Taken to Hospital After Hitting Cow in Roanoke Co.

Roanoke Co., VA- A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after running into a cow in Roanoke County.

At around 10:30 Friday night, police say 64-year-old Douglas Thompson Jr. of Floyd was driving his motorcycle on Bent Mountain Road when he collided with a cow that was blocking the roadway.

Thompson was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Police say charges are pending.
