Gretna Man Killed in Pittsylvania County Crash

Pittsylvania Co., VA- A Gretna man was killed in a car accident Saturday night in Pittsylvania County.

At around 7:30, State Police say 48-year-old Charlie Miller Jr. was driving on Route 638, east of Route 641. Police say Miller ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree, causing his car to overturn.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
