Richmond, VA - There are more international students on Virginia's college campuses these days, according to a study from the Institute of International Education.
Their numbers show there are about 15,170 foreign students in the state this school year, ranking Virginia 14th in the national.
They found the most at Virginia Tech, with 2,578 international students, which was the most in the state. George Mason University in Fairfax had 2,159, followed by the University of Virginia with 2,141, Virginia Commonwealth University with 1,647, and Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale with 1,446.
The study also shows students from China made up the most of the enrollment at 19 %.
