Ladies—listen up! This weekend in Lynchburg, it's all about you! Mothers, daughters, sisters and friends…you are all invited to the Downtown Diva Crawl Friday, November 16. The kickoff party starts at the Community Market at 5 p.m., and the first 600 divas get a tote bag with goodies. It will be a fun night of shopping, and several downtown stores and restaurants will have specials. That's until 8 p.m.
On Saturday—it's time for the 4th Annual Thomas Jefferson Wine Festival. Come out to Poplar Forest to try wine from 14 Virginia wineries. There will also be local food and artisans. Tickets in advance are $20 or $25 at the door. That's 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are still on sale for a live show based on a popular kids show. Sesame Street Live will be atthe Salem Civic Center Nov 30 & 31st. The show called, "Can't Stop Singing," has all of your favorite characters—Grover, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie and many more. This will be a fun show your family won't want to miss.
