Lynchburg - Two L.C.A. Bulldogs basketball players signed their letters-of-intent Thursday for next season. Point guard Raven Jefferson commits to South Carolina-Upstate while shooting guard Moriah Begin, who transferred into L.C.A. this year from Wisconsin, signs with the Liberty Flames.
Raven Jefferson, who signed with South Carolina Upstate, says "It's a weight off my shoulder especially. And now that I've signed somewhere, I can focus on winning a state championship this year for L.C.A."
Moriah Begin, who signed with Liberty, says "Liberty definitely, I've always wanted to go to a Christian college. I've always wanted to be surrounded by like-minded people and people that are really pursuing God like I am."
