Roanoke Firefighter Taken to Hospital After Battling Flames - WSET.com - ABC13

Roanoke, VA- A fire in Roanoke Saturday night sent a firefighter to the hospital.

At around 11 p.m. crews responded to the 300 block of Noble Avenue. While fighting the flames, a firefighter was injured and taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

The cause of the fire was a furnace malfunction. Officials say the fire caused about $30,000 worth of damage.
