Tulsa Police were at the scene of an apartment complex in South Tulsa early Tuesday morning after gun shots were heard.
It happened just after 12:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Arbor Apartments on South Zunis Avenue. There, an individual was shot at after a domestic dispute.
TPD told Channel 8 that the male was hit in the abdomen and transferred to a Tulsa hospital where he is awake and conscious.
Officers say the incident occurred after a fight between the man and his girlfriend. After the shooting, the suspected individuals drove off in a small four door car.
An investigation is currently underway by Tulsa Police.
