Lynchburg - This past weekend, V.E.S. basketball senior Caleb White put his earlier commitment into writing, signing with the East Carolina Pirates. White says the Pirates want him to play a two-guard spot and want him to play as a freshman. He also considered Richmond and Virginia Tech, but says his relationship with the coaching staff and the Pirates' style of play helped sway him to East Carolina.
Caleb White said "They like to get up and down the floor. They like to develop their players, you know they walk 'em through it. It's not gonna be a lot of scolding, but they make sure you're right."
White says he's excited now about trying to lead the Bishops to a state championship in his senior season.
