Most of you are busy with Thanksgiving preparations this week, but there are some other fun events going on.
On Thanksgiving Day, the Rescue Mission in Roanoke is hosting the Drumstick Dash. Money raised in the 5K provides food, shelter and clothes for 350 people in need. If you want to take part, you can register race day starting at 7 a.m.
Friday, you can dance off all that turkey from Thanksgiving! Come out to the Roanoke Civic Center for the Holiday Bash featuring three local band - The Kings, Project 4 and Kim Quick and the Coastline. Tickets are $26 and that's 7 p.m. until midnight. Buy tickets here.
All this week, the Monocan Indian Village at the Natural Bridge will be celebrating Fall Harvest. In honor of American Indian Heritage Month and Thanksgiving—they will have a cooking demonstration. That's 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. until Sunday. Learn more about the event here.
