BLACKSBURG - Virginia's 17-14 loss to rival Virginia Tech left the Cavaliers with a 4-8 record, one season after they finished 8-5 and appeared in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
The loss was UVa's 9th straight against Tech and its 13th loss in the last 14 meetings.
