Altavista - Rustburg's Tayla Glass topped one thousand career points in Tuesday night's game at Altavista, but the Colonels came away with a 52-34 victory. Glass needed just seven points to hit one thousand and she got those in the first quarter.
Altavista Head Coach Debra Spencer hit a milestone of her own, Tuesday night's victory was Spencer's 300th career basketball coaching victory.
