Chatham, VA - After months of public meetings, the Uranium Working Group handed over its final report to Governor Bob McDonnell Friday.
Virginia Uranium Incorporated wants to mine a massive deposit outside of Chatham.
Before they can, though, a 30 year ban on uranium mining in Virginia must be lifted.
This report does not recommend whether the ban should end.
