Roanoke Police Arrest Man for Burglary & Arson

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police have arrested a man they say broke into a church, ransacked it and then set part of it on fire.

Nathaniel Lutz, 21, is charged with breaking and entering, arson and possession of marijuana.

Police were called out to Westminster Presbyterian Church on Peters Creek Road Thursday at 6:25 a.m.

The church reported some items were missing - and officers found some that had been set on fire inside the church.

Police say they found some of the stolen items in Lutz's house.
