Liberty Volleyball Falls to Minnesota in 1st Round

Liberty nearly forced a fourth set but lost to Minnesota 3-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. After losing the first two sets 25-21 and 25-10, the Flames dropped the final set 34-32.

Big South Player of the Year Carolina Douglas led LU with 12 kills.

Jade Craycraft had 23 assists and several key points for LU in the third set.

LU finished the season 25-8 and will return nearly every player from this year's roster.

Loren Thomas, one of the team's best players, was the Flames only senior.
